Going to GLCT really helped me through my first steps in Canada. The school is unique, in that it caters to the needs of international students. Having ready accommodation on arrival to a foreign country, access to counselors who helped sort out visa issues, teachers who were sensitive to the fact that I came from a foreign education system and simply interacting with other international students who were in the same situation as me – all these things helped me through my first year of studies in Canada. The quality of teaching staff was high, and I as impressed with the record of the school’s graduates getting into Canadian universities: practically everyone I knew went on to get a Canadian post-secondary degree. I’m glad that I had the opportunity to go to GLCT and will always have fond memories of my time there.
