Set against the beautiful shoreline of Lake Ontario, the city's most scenic rink awaits! The Natrel Rink has been an unparalleled skating destination in Toronto for 30 years.
Skates and helmets are available to rent at both rinks. There’s a heated indoor change room with lockers and washrooms, admission is always free. Be sure to check out the free DJ skate at Harbourfront on Dec. 31 st.**
The Toronto Christmas Market: Distillery Historic District, 55 Mill St, Toronto, ON M5A
**The Toronto Christmas Market takes over the Distillery Historic District for another year of holiday magic and romance. Now in its seventh year, the market has become one of the city’s favourite holiday traditions, ranked one of the world’s best Christmas markets by Fodor’s Travel, USA Today, Mashable and more. Take in sparkling Christmas light canopies, traditional music and carols, dance performances and family-friendly activities like Santa’s House, a ferris wheel, carousel and life-sized gingerbread house. Foodies can taste traditional European street-style food as well as Canadian holiday treats. But your cheer budget will go a bit further on weekdays, when admisions is FREE. Tickets for weekend dates cost $5. Hurry up tomorrow is the last day for the Christmas Market!**
Christmas at Colborne Lodge:

When: Tuesday to Sundays Nov. 19th to Jan. 6th
**Warm up by the hearth at Colborne Lodge and take in the sights ad smells of a Victorian Christmas. Enjoy the natural greenery decorations, toast the season with a glass of hot mulled cider by the wood stove and nibble on special holiday treats.**
Magical Winterland Nights:
Where: Casa Loma (1 Austin Terrace)
When: Wednesday Nights 5pm – 9pm
(Dec. 7, 14, 21, 28 & Jan 4)
**Explore the Magic of Casa Loma.. at night! Wander through the dazzling lighting display in the gardens and witness famed illusionist entertainer Professor Wick’s holiday themed magic show, as well as live performers Soli and Rob and Circus Jon. Plus special appearances by PAW Patrol. Featuring festive décor throughout the castle and 10 stunning trees by celebrity designers, including Colin & Justin. Families are invited to visit Santa in the Spin Master workshop, visit with wintery holiday mascots, sing along with live carollers, witness live wood carving, enjoy s’mores, hot cocoa and much more! $ 22 for students.**
Instead of complaining about the snow, go and buy a toboggan or inexpensive carpet from Dollarama or Canidian Tire, bring along a thermos of hot chocolate and head to a park for some tobogganing with friends! Nearby parks with good hills include Lithuania Park, Trinity Bellwoods Park or High Park. Remember to dress warmly!!
